Project Life Summer Employment Program Begins

MNDC was awarded a grant from the Montclair Township to employ Montclair students through the Project Life Summer Employment Program. MNDC contracts with citywide partners, who agree to train the students for approximately 4 weeks. MNDC has placed students into intern position with agencies including Montclair Township Recreation & Cultural Affairs, Salvation Army, Toni’s Kitchen, Mountainside Hospital, Judge Anthony Fresco – Montclair Municipal Court, Farmer’s Insurance, Montclair Art Museum, Montclair Public Library, Dr. Alfred Davis-Integrated Medicine, Montclair Township Section 8, Montclair Neighborhood Day Care Center, Montclair Grass Roots Summer Camp, Fitness at Bloomfield, United Way, and Montclair Child Development Center.

We are grateful to Montclair Township as well as our employment partners who are giving students valuable hands-on learning experience in the work world.
