MNDC needs your support

For nearly half a century, MNDC has proven that you don’t need to be big to be impactful. We operate with extremely low overhead costs — only one full-time and two part-time employees—along with a group of dedicated volunteers. Less than 12% of all revenues go toward our organizational expenses. The rest directly supports people in need.

While this is admirable, MNDC could do much more with greater financial support from private sources. Demand for our programs and services far outweighs the available capital, and restrictions on public grants make it imperative that we fundraise.

Therefore, we need everyone’s help to reach our annual operating goal of $600,000. This amount includes grants from the State of New Jersey, Essex County and the Township of Montclair, in addition to funds from private foundations, corporations and individuals.
